Original Flash game about car modding, designed with simple gameplay mechanics and fun graphics to appeal to casual gamers.

To design and develop a game for an online audience. We defined our audience and designed with their situation in mind (time spent online, experience with games, etc).

Since our audience was "the casual gamer" our major goal was to create a game simple enough to understand that players of any age could pick it up and play immediately.

Art Director — I developed all of the visual elements of the game: the graphics, animations, stage layouts, characters, and menus.

"Minimum target" prototype (Weeks 5-8) — The game with our minimum graphics, animations, and gameplay goals.
"Minimum" prototype v2 (Weeks 9-10) — After receiving feedback during our gametest, we included features to increase usability, such as the "Customers Served" and "Money Earned" sections and cleaner graphics.
Final (Weeks 11-14) — After further feedback, we incorporated a day counter (top, center) to show what day the player is on.

Time Limit — The sun/moon animation indicates how much time the player has left in that day.
